Ofsted and SIAMS

Ofsted

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. It inspects services providing education and skills for learners of all ages and also inspects and regulates services that care for children and young people.

Horspath Church of England Primary School was last inspected in March 2020, when the school was judged ‘good’. You can view the inspection report online here or read it in the statutory information section.

The government’s Find school performance data website allows you to look at key information about Horspath.  However, the government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. This is because statutory assessments returned for the first time since 2019, without adaptations, after disruption caused by the pandemic. The government has archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because it recognises that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

SIAMS

The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England. Inspections focus on the impact of each school's Christian vision on its pupils and staff. This involves considering the vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision and how effective the provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish.

The school was last inspected in May 2018 and was judged good. You can read the report in the statutory information section or download below:
